Sai Vijayendra Madiga has earned global recognition as one of the ’30 under 30 Data Scientists’ by Analytics Insights in 2022. Currently, he holds the position of Principal Data Scientist in the AI team at VR Smart Guide.
Currently, he is heading the Data Science initiatives in the team, redefining access to credit for small SMEs using AI. Sai is also leveraging Generative AI for analyzing key metrics and summarizing various financial reports of SMEs.
Prior to working at VR Smart Guide, Sai worked as an AVP in the AI team at JP Morgan and as a Principal Data Scientist at HDFC Life for 3 years. He holds a Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras, which is recognized as the #1 Engineering institute in India.
Outside of work, Vijay loves to read, travel and drive.
